I took a leap; I jumped into action mode and went on the hunt to print out my very first design. Even though I had no idea at that time of how to go about doing any of the printing not even how much it cost. The only thing I knew was that this is something that I wanted to do, this was my passion, and dammit I was going to succeed no matter what. Around this time I remember it being close to Spring Break in college and the fellas and I were trying to plan a trip to Panama City Beach. Spring Break was where I wanted to show my very first design off, I was looking for reactions whether verbal, facial expressions or whatever I could get. I was looking for something that validated that this was a great idea and that I wasn't just living in my own head.
After days and days of researching online, I found a print shop that did quality work and had my logo printed on a batch of shirts online and delivered a week before Spring Break. Now you can imagine I was so hyped about this first batch. I gave Marcus a shirt and I wore a shirt out to the beach and nothing but heads turned; people were liking the shirt, nothing but love. That was the fuel I needed to my flame.
